MODALITIES AND CATEGORIES

 - 2×2 Female and Male

 - The league is individual so you don't need a partner.

REGISTRATION

 - To participate in the league each player must be duly registered with their details via the link on the website. www.socobeachvolleytenerife.com in the SOCO LEAGUE section.

 - The registration period will be from Monday 9h to Thursday 20h the same week of each day.

 - Registration is compulsory and no late registrations will be accepted.

 - Accident and injury insurance is included in the registration fee.

 - It is MANDATORY play in an official league shirt or top.

 - The price per T-shirt or top is 15€.

PRICE PER DAY

 - Soco Club members 5€.

 - Non-members 8€.

GROUP SYSTEM

 - Each group will consist of 4 players.

 - On the first day the groups will be configured according to the SOCO LEAGUE 2023 ranking.

 - The following matchdays the groups will be configured according to the ranking of the previous matchday.

 - Each day that a player does not play, 1 point will be deducted from the classification.

 - New players will be placed in each group in order of registration.

 - At the end of each day, results and standings will be published on the website.

 - Each day will start at 9am alternating categories, so if the men's category starts on day 1, the women's category will start on the following day.

 - The participants will play 3 sets of 21 points each day, 1 set with each member of the group.

 - Each set shall be limited to 21 points.

 - The order of the matches shall always be as follows:

   1-4 vs 2-3 / 1-3 vs 2-4 / 1-2 vs 3-4

 - The number 1 player in each group must inform the organisers of the result at the end of each match.

SCORING SYSTEM

 - The basic points are distributed in each tournament according to the attached points table linked to the number of participants, therefore, the distribution of basic points is made according to the player's position in his group. 

  - If there are players ranked in the same place in their group, these players will receive the same amount of basis points. For example, when two players finish second in the first group, they both get 20.1 basis points, i.e. equal to the average of the basis points contributed by the second and third places in the first group.

 - In addition to the basic points, the ranking points awarded to each player in the competition are taken into account.

The so-called plus-minus factor. The plus-minus factor is calculated for the players and the sum of the match result column is multiplied by a factor of 0.05 and this result is added to the player's base points.

Note that the sum can also be negative, in which case the effect is to reduce basis points.

 - Maintain and calculate the ranking situation.

   The ranking situation is based on the total points calculated for the players. First, second and third.

   After the competition, only the most recent scorer is included in each player's point total.

CONFERENCES

- A total of 7 days will be held plus the FINAL.

- The top 16 finishers in both categories will qualify for the finals, with 1 to 8 in the gold category and 9 to 16 in the silver category.

- If a player is ranked in the top 16, he/she must have played a minimum of 5 rounds to be eligible to play in the FINAL.
